Dr. Gwendolyn Lynch is a Florida native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in biology. She then returned to her home state and graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. A challenging internship in small animal medicine followed at prestigious Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
She then completed a three year private practice residency and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2005. Dr. Lynch practiced in Virginia for several years before returning to California to join Veterinary Vision. She is a two time past president of the Peninsula Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA).
She loves all kinds of animals. She currently has two beloved cats of her own (tiny three-legged Katniss and gentle soul Hazel, who is shown in this photo) as well as a horse, Ghetti, who patiently instructs her on the finer points of the art of dressage.
