Dr. Gwen Lynch is a Florida native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in biology. She then returned to her home state and graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. A challenging internship in small animal medicine followed at prestigious Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston.
She then completed a 3 year private practice residency in Southern California and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2005. Dr. Lynch practiced in LA and then Virginia for several years before returning to California to join Veterinary Vision. She is a two time past president of the Peninsula Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA).
She loves all kinds of animals. She currently has two cats of her own (tiny three-legged Katniss Everdeen and gentle soul Hazel, shown in photo) as well Ghetti, the special horse who patiently instructs her in the fine art of dressage.
